In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • A location that puts Rome's sights on foot — The property sits within 500 metres of Palazzo Venezia, and guests say the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Colosseum are within walking distance. One reviewer noted almost every sight was reachable in under 30 minutes.
  • Genuinely helpful, flexible staff — Service scores 8.5 and guests describe the team as attentive, polite and willing to help. Specific examples include an apartment upgrade for a family and extra effort from individual staff members.
  • Space that feels more like an apartment — Reviewers note large bedrooms, separate dining areas and kitchens, and the room list includes studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. This makes the property a practical choice for longer stays or families.
  • Well-equipped rooms with solid facilities — Facilities score 8.5, and the amenity list includes air conditioning, soundproofing, mini-bars, tea and coffee facilities, and laundry equipment in some units. Guests also mention reliable Wi-Fi and good air conditioning.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Comfort is the weakest rated category — Comfort scores 6.9, below the property's 8.2 overall. Guest reviews point to small frustrations such as one air-conditioning remote for two units and a lift that stopped at the bedroom floor.
  • Breakfast is not a highlight — A guest found breakfast only okay and missed a buffet, and noted the property did not appear to have a breakfast space. The dining category scores 8.2, but the offering seems geared more toward self-catering.
  • Driving and parking are best avoided — One reviewer who arrived by car described the parking garage as very hard to find and called driving in Rome an adventure, recommending guests leave their car at the airport. The property lists no on-site parking.
  • Check apartment details before booking — Some units have kitchenettes and others do not. One family learned after booking that their apartment had no kitchen and had to be moved by staff; another noted that their studio was upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment at a slightly lower price.

“Location was superb — right in the middle of everything.”

8.2Verified guest

“The setting was excellent, close to the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Pantheon, and most attractions and public transport were easy to reach from the hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly.”

8.2Verified guest

“Thanks to everyone for a genuinely lovely stay — it made for a fantastic visit.”

8.2Verified guest

“Very neat and clean, and the location is cleverly placed so everything is within walking distance. We had not stayed here before.”

8.2Verified guest

“Location was the best part — truly unbeatable. We walked to almost every sight within 30 minutes. Staff were very friendly and let us switch apartments (we hadn't noticed at booking that ours had no kitchen, which mattered with a small child).”

8.2Verified guest

“Of the four hotels we stayed at in Italy, our room was the largest so far — more like an apartment, with a kitchen, dining room and a very big master bedroom. Breakfast was only okay; we missed a proper buffet, though there didn't seem to be a breakfast space. The location was perfect: we walked to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican. But don't arrive with a hire car — the parking garage is very hard to find. It's better to leave the car at the airport and take a chauffeur service. Driving in Rome isn't enjoyable; we had the same issue in Florence. We managed, but it was an adventure.”
